People will be shocked how often Clottey will be tagging Pacquiao with the lead right

The problem with Clottey is he stays in his shell during opponent's flurries. He waits for them to stop before he goes on the offensive.
Tell me how Clottey will land anything on Pacquiao when Pacquiao never stops punching. Specially if you just sit there in your shell expecting him to stop punching.
That's why I will be surprised if Clottey even lands anything flush on Pacquiao. Body shot or face, don't matter, anything flush.Comment

I won't be shocked. I hope he tags him the entire fight the way he tagged Margarito in the first five rounds of their fight. If he does, Clottey will win easily.Comment

if Pac uses the same strategy as he did against delaHoya, I dont think Clottey will be landing too much of those lead rights. pac's movement, footwork, speed and onslaught will be too much for Clottey and will give him problems all night, plus the weird angles Pac throws out his punches will break Clottey's defense.seriously...clottey has a very underrated lead right hand. its fast, accurate and he times it perfectly. he also can throw it from a very far distance, watch his fight with judah. and i have a feeling pacquiao wont be able to get a way from it. cotto doesnt really have much of a right hand, he mainly uses it to set up punches for his left hand. im not saying this means clottey will win, but pacquiao is going to have a hellacious time getting away from that punch. hes also going to struggle more than he did with cotto to keep clottey from getting inside and working the body, which also could be very detrimental. just pointing some things out to y'all.
Clottey did great against Judah cause Zab tends to stand with less movements.Comment

Please
I hope clottey comes to fight because he has had many chances we must remember. Margarito, Cotto, Judah and now Pac. He shouldve kicked it into a higher gear against Cotto every champion that claims to be a warrior does it for future success. I really hope clottey wins because alot of people dont see how PAC chery picks. If he really wanted to fight the best then why didnt he take Mosly instead of Cotto. Mosley tried everything beside saying he would go down to 140 to secure a fight with him. He wanted no part of Mosley and Freddie even said that Mosley was to good. PAC-Man is in my humble opion a very good fighter with amazing stamina, but I still wonder why he wouldnt take a bllod test in the timeline and he keeps claiming he wants to fight Mayweather and he wants to shut his mouth. If that was the case then they wouldve fought.seriously...clottey has a very underrated lead right hand. its fast, accurate and he times it perfectly. he also can throw it from a very far distance, watch his fight with judah. and i have a feeling pacquiao wont be able to get a way from it. cotto doesnt really have much of a right hand, he mainly uses it to set up punches for his left hand. im not saying this means clottey will win, but pacquiao is going to have a hellacious time getting away from that punch. hes also going to struggle more than he did with cotto to keep clottey from getting inside and working the body, which also could be very detrimental. just pointing some things out to y'all.
Back to the subject though. Clottey is really going to be a punching bag because he stays in that high guard and Cotto dropped him with a Jab. If he cant defend against Cotto slow jab then what will he do against Pac throwing from all angles with speed. I really hope he presses forward and makes it a fight but his feet are to slow and he will be put out of position by a simple move. His only prayer is a head butt.Comment

Who knows. I guess if you are basing how he will perform on the Cotto fight, then yes, it's possible. If he's got any sense (and I'm sure he has) he will come with a different approach. Personally I think he will be more aggressive and throw more. I don't get the feeling he's ****** enough to stand there and let Manny explode for 12 rounds. The problem with Clottey is he stays in his shell during opponent's flurries. Im expecting Pac to beat his ass pretty bad. Clottey is too stationary for him. Case in Point: Watch Clottey struggle to find Cotto. Watch Cotto pop that lead left at :7 seconds. Watch how when Cotto moved Clottey tried to cut the ring off. ONE problem his hands were down. He doesnt guard himself when his opponent is moving.

I love that strategy. The first time I saw it was the Larios fight, round 5. Good round for Manny.
End of the round looks like how he approached the Oscar fight.
2:04 is nice as well.

Lets hope he tags him a few times. This is the whole point of boxing. Competetive fights. No point in watching someone dominate for 12 roundsseriously...clottey has a very underrated lead right hand. its fast, accurate and he times it perfectly. he also can throw it from a very far distance, watch his fight with judah. and i have a feeling pacquiao wont be able to get a way from it. cotto doesnt really have much of a right hand, he mainly uses it to set up punches for his left hand. im not saying this means clottey will win, but pacquiao is going to have a hellacious time getting away from that punch. hes also going to struggle more than he did with cotto to keep clottey from getting inside and working the body, which also could be very detrimental. just pointing some things out to y'all.Comment
