Yes. According to Dan, one million people paid to see Juan Manuel Marquez on PPV against Mayweather. That just happens to be more than the combined number of people who have paid to see JMM fight in all 55 of his career fights (whether on PPV or in person).

Ok, I can only speak for myself. I paid for that fight. Hell, i paid extra for an HD feed. I'm not a fan of Marquez though I felt he could do good in the fight and gave him some intsy bitsy sort of chance. (Little did I know a shell of his 130lb self would show up!!!)

However, I am not a Floyd fan either. I respect his ability and acknowledge it. Having said all that, I have to admit that I am one who paid $60 bucks to see if he would get hit or beat.

Say what you will, but I honestly do believe that there are a lot of people who buy PPV's where Floyd is featured based on the curiosity of whether or not he will lose.

Hell, I remember doing the same thing for Tyson fights when he was in his prime.

I will also pay for the Mayweather/Mosley fight, but this time I am intrigued as I most definitely give Mosely a chance to do what others haven't been able to. This time I am paying to see what Mosely brings to the table and to see if Mayweather can handle whatever is brought. I give Mosely much more of a chance than I ever did Marquez, that's for sure.

PPl hate Mayweather for many reasons , but if ur a boxing fan , u better be a fan of mayweather's skills. I mean is one thing he is a complete idiot , but the guy is pretty skilled. just my 2 cents. BTW I cant stand the guy.
