Something particular happens to the fighters Ruiz fights. Check this out

After fighting Evander Holyfield, Evander went on to lose 3 out of his n3xt 4 fights.

After fighting Kirk Johnson, Kirk went on to get destroyed in round 2 by Vitali Klitschko, and is yet to fight someone big in the division.

After fighting Roy Jones Junior, Roy went on to lose to Antonio Tarver and Glenn Johnson

After fighting Hasim Rahman, Rahman dissapeared for a year, only to await his destruction

After fighting Fres Oquendo, Fres dissapeared now for a year, and was totally blown out of the rankings.

After fighting James Toney, Toney tested positive for steroids and only god knows how bad the cloud over Toney's head will be when determining his all time position.

Now we await what happens to Golota. If Golota gets destroyed by Brewster, or losses to him than surely there is very bad luck involved when fighting Ruiz.

I told you all, a lot of what determines a great fighter is how he bounces back from a bad defeat in his career. Ruiz bounces back, but most...MOST...don't. Lightning doesn't strike the same place 2, 3, 4, 5, etc times. This isnt coincidence.
