The ONLY reason this is happening is because Valuev is popular in Germany. Lets face it this guy is a bum and its ridiculous that they cant find a better guy for Vitali to fight.

But Valuev is immensely popular in Germany (even if its only for his size)

Give me your view on Vitali Klitschko as a fighter, I'm curious here. Don't hold back

Vitali does not hit as hard as he did in 2003 anymore. He is a volume fighter. And, thanks to Valuev's reach, it will be difficult to land enough on the giant to topple him. Further, Valuev has never been KD or KOed before, IIRC.

Vitali wins, definitely. But KO? I doubt it. TKO is possible, though.

I have nothing against him. I think he's a very good fighter - could've been great. He's better than Wladimir IMO (although Wlad has a far better resume). I wish Vitali was around for all of those years he was away. But Hall of Fame? For what exactly? Beating Sam Peter? What other victim can he use to claim that? Sheer nonsense.

Yes, Vitali needs some better names on his resummee.

But he'll be ATG. He probably already is HOF.

                - He came back from 1,400 days off the ring thanks to injuries, aged 37.
                - He had no warm-up-fight, he went straight for the belt.
                - He did not only win against a younger opponent (who was considered a powerful and dangerous fighter BEFORE the fight), who had a lost only once in 31 fights,
                - he made the word champion quit in his stool, destroyed physically and mentally.
                - He fought against three more Top10 contenders within 14 months of his comeback, TKOing 2 and winning 12/12 in the last.
                - Despite KJ, he still has the highest KO rating of all active HW boxers.
                - Vitali lost two fights in his carreer, and both were to injuries, not to being knocked down or outboxed.
                - His fight with Lennox Lewis drove the ATG into retirement.

Be careful, if you say good things about the Klitschkos he'll call you an alt too

Vitali is giving up 7 inches in height and 60 lbs in weight.

Using the logic of Haye fans that means if Vitali is smart he will run all night and pot shot 12 times per round.

                      So true.

Fortunately for us, Vitali doesn't care about that. He'll go straight for Valuev!
