Rubbish. He'd just lost an extremely close MD to a still in his prime Barrera. And he did much better against Pac than a still in his prime Barrera had done. He had plenty left in his tank.

He was considered past his prime when he fought Pacquiao that first time. That performance was an anomaly. He got his ass kicked in his bouts afterward which suggests he didn't just fall apart in one day.

Then his previous performance, in which he nearly beat Barrera, was also an anomaly. And I didn't hear many people claiming that at the time.

Really? Don't forget that Barrera was not as highly thought of then. He had been beaten and battered by Pacquiao then beat a shopworn Ayala. Morales was favored to win convincingly. His performance in that bout (needing half the bout to get going) was a surprise because of the perception of Barrera at the time. Pacquiao was expected to walk through Morales. I remember well because I picked Morales in an upset . One day I'll be able to get more than half of my predictions right

regardless of what version Pacquiao is or was, steroids or no steroids, Marquez still kicked his ass in both fights!

******. Roach ALWAYS gives credit to Pacquiao and has said many times that he made him much more successful and well-known.

You're basically saying what Roach says himself.
