  • Cruiser Wt. Fight on FNF

For all those that love a good cruiser wt. fight as much as I do, tonight on ESPN2 O'Neil Bell will be fighting Dale Brown for the IBF belt. I've seen Bell on many occasions and like him pretty well, but I am unfamiliar with Brown. Either way it goes, it's cool to have a decent cruiser wt. fight again since the last Mormeck-Braithwaite! (Just a little advance warning for those interested)
Anybody have any pics on who will win and why?

Good looking out Tracy, but the cruiser weight is very unfamiliar to me. What time do they start?

Cowboy Dale Brown is a Canadian so obviously they make a big deal about him up here. Problem is he's 0/3 in title fights. A couple of months ago he fought some nobody on an FNF undercard.

The idiots that run our big sports network aren't showing the fight until tomorrow afternoon, though. Why? Cause St.Steve Nash is in a playoff game tonight.

I've seen Dale Brown fight, and he's slow and not a big puncher.Bell has devastating KO power, but does have a questionable chin.I dont think Brown has the power to threaten Bells chin so i'l go with Bell by KO in the mid rounds.

I, like Tracy, don't know too much about Brown- but am farmiliar with Bell. He is my pick to take this one, and do it big, by a middle rounds KO.

PS- Wasn't Bell supposed to be fighting Kelvin Davis a few months ago?

According to my cable guide, they start at 8 pm (EST) which is a bit earlier than usual!

O'Neil Bell I think is WBO cruiserweight champ. I actually really like watching cruiserweight fights for the most part. It is actually one of my favorite weight classes.

                  hmm

My uncle, Tommy Kimmons, is reffing on ESPN tonight. I think he will be reffing that fight but I'm not sure. Should be a decent fight.
