Bob arum: "with manny pacquiao, they're going to be entertained"

"Mayweather's a tremendous, defensive specialist, but he's not particularly entertaining in the ring...it's a given, with Manny Pacquiao, they're going to be entertained. And that's why, once he's been exposed as he has been to the American public, that's why he's a pay-per-view star whoever he fights, as long as he's fighting somebody who's competitive," commented legendary promoter Bob Arum, who was more than happy to talk to the media about Manny Pacquiao's upcoming March 13th welterweight title defense at Cowboys Stadium. Arum couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear during the open workout as he discussed quite a number of potential future bouts for the world's most exciting fighter.

"I think that's definitely a possibility [a fight with Antonio Margarito]. If Mosley upsets Mayweather, that's a possibility. Shane is not difficult to deal with. And a big possibility is, watch this little guy from Venezuela, Edwin Valero. Would that be a fight," Arum stated, hinting that there's still other lucrative bouts with Antonio Margarito, Shane Mosley and Edwin Valero that Pacquiao could persue should he continue his boxing career after the Clottey bout.

With political aspirations on the horizon, it's unclear exactly how much more boxing Pacquiao plans on doing should he get elected in May. That being said, with so many options still on the table, it might be difficult for Pacquiao to walk away from the sport while he's still on top. Decisions, decisions, decisions! Whatever he decides to do, one thing is clear...boxing will truly be a lot less entertaining if the world's most exciting fighter does indeed decide to walk away from the sport in the near future.
