sr should just leave his kid alone. pisses me off to see him proyecting his expectactions and trying to make jr what he wants him to be. it's obvious his son doesnt have the same desire he had.

chavez, leave your kids alone, get your own life. start playing domino like other retired ppl.

i really don't think jr is dedicated to the sport, like some who are always in the gym, training,,,,people who know him say he is always partying, seen in nightclubs,etc...just the other day on the radio the guy was saying he sees him and looks out of shape, while you aren't fighting i think you should still be in shape,,seems to me he trains at only 60%,probably works more at losing weight than anything else, but if i were going to get paid a lot to fight bums, hey i would take those fights too..can't wait to see him against duddy and it will be a big dissapointment if he doesn't fight for a championship in 2010

Well I don't think he has much natural talent and to an extent where he could be a belt holder or even a contender no matter how much he improves skill wise.

If he is content to keep fighting this level of opposition and making money off of the gullible fans who would actually buy a PPV with him as a main event then more power to him.

The bottom line is no matter what he does, if he ever steps up against a world class fighter he is going to lose and probably in dramatic fashion.

I think that if jr actually trains and dedicates himself to the spot he can become at the very least a tittle holder. He has good power and throws in combinations i could see him beating spinks but never a guy like martinez.

he was doign well at 154 he already had good movment and good power but the move to 160 ****ed him up.im very sure sr well get him back to 154 with no rpoblems.Sr was a bad ass peopel say he was 1 dimensional BULL **** go watch him on youtube before you say that sr had exellent movment body punching great chin and had skills but ******* ****ed him up bad but when that came his legacy was already written he had nothing to prove by 1993 when his down fall came.he will push his son Jr alot they plan on going to the capitol where elavation is very high unlike sinaloa.154 division has been left by its top stars martinez will fight for the middleweight title paul williams will go back to welterweight.the only good fighter left is perro angulo.Omar chavez his 2nd son is alot better thoe
