I dont think that Shane is in way over his head as far as skills are concerned, but I simply dont think that he has what it takes to keep up with Floyd mentally without emotion(which is what he's going to need). And a prime SSM Vs. a prime JLC, Chico, Zab(before Kostya), Jesus Chavez, and Angel Manfredy(before he became born again) would have given Shane some real problems. True?

so true...funny that sugar did not fight ANYONE on his come up...just a bunch of bums...floyd fought great opposition on his come up...as of late floyd has chosen to fight lesser opposition for more money though

Yes Sir. Floyd fought Hernandez for the WBC S.featherweight title in his 18th pro fight. Manfredy was the 19th fight. Shane got his 1st crack at a title(LW) in his 23rd fight, and didnt fight John John Molina until 3 fights later. Uncle Bob moved Floyd pretty quickly.......why? Because Uncle Bob swore that Floyd was the best fighter he's "EVER" seen at the time........does that sound familar coming from Uncle Bob?

I think Shane is very focus for this fight which is why he being awfully quite.Leting Mayeather get the shine make the spectical.If anyone is underestimsting anyone it's money.mosley will be in shape ready to go.I know mayweather will be too.Its going to be a fight. for real...floyd was the only fighter arum threw to the wolves in his early going...but that was because arum really believed floyd was the best offensive and defensive fighter he had ever see...dont forget..floyd had pop in his punches then...as soon as chop chop touched cottos chin arum said..wait wait...lets slow this thing here a few noches..people dont understand cottos first real opposition where it was a 50/50 fight was with mosley..in the fight with corrales (rip) fans and insiders alike thought corrales was gonna take dude head off..
