I wanted to get a perspective on Hopkins' performance vs WInky's...
Hopkins really busted up Tito obviously...
they BOTH practically shut out Tito in two different ways...not that one is better than the other...
either way they were both psychologically very depressing for Tito...vs Winky, he couldn't land a single good punch and Winky kept the pressure...vs Hopkins if he did land a good punch which was almost never, it had no effect...Hopkins would land back harder 3-4 punches at a time...Hopkins bullied Tito all night while Winky slapped him
Winky relied on his jab and quick one-twos to beat Tito...Hopkins relied on great counter punching and combinations...
the way Hopkins fought Tito allowed Tito to POSSIBLY win a round...but any round given to Tito vs Hopkins was out of sympathy only because Hopkins decided to lay on the ropes and trade with Tito a bit...but even the 6th round I gave to Hopkins because his punches were having more effect...
it is hard if you try to determine who "beat him worse"...Hopkins obviously busted him up, damaged him, and knocked him out...while Winky just used the jab and never gave the impression that Tito was in the fight...
Tito couldn't really land major solid punches on either man and he got clipped in return for missing...
it is a debate that will never have a conclusion...they both schooled Tito in the ways they know how...
