    Toney's an underachiever?

I've always heard that Toney was an underachiever, but I was looking at his record and I don't see how? Can anyone explain?

I think he's fought some tough opposition. True he has troubles with weight, but even then he has still fought and won most of his fights.

    What do you guys think?

He underachieves sometimes by lack of training and really just a lack of motivation for certain fights (i.e. Thadzi, Tiberi, RJJ, Griffin). Thats just how it goes though and no one can really blame those losses (not Tiberi) solely on that. It would be rediculous to think that a prime Toney at his top form would lose to a Thadzi or Griffin, but it happened because he just didn't show up for the fight and got outworked by the hungrier fighter.

He is one of the most naturally skilled fighters ever and is blessed with having one of the best chins that boxings ever seen, but he lets some undesired part of himself get the best of him sometimes.
