FUNNY MONEY: MAYWEATHER CAN GET PERSONAL, AS LONG AS IT'S NOT ABOUT HIM!
By G. Leon
Mosley needs to ask questions he won't answer!
Just when I was starting to feel bad for exposing undefeated pound for pound Picasso Floyd Mayweather Jr's financial woes, his actions and comments totally justify everything ********** has published. In a recent interview with SNY and Livestream.com that can be viewed on youtube
Mayweather can be said stating the following directly to Mosley.
"Jin is your manager, you beat Oscar De La Hoya twice and you are an employee under Golden Boy, you work for Golden Boy.
Hilarious, considering Mayweather was quite close to working under Don King. Now he and Mosley have more in common than victories over De La Hoya, they both work under the promotional license of Golden Boy.
For somebody who obviously didn't appreciate his personal business getting exposed, Mayweather's remarks about Mosley's ex-wife seem quite personal to me. Would Mosley have been out of line responding by asking Floyd about his parents and their transgressions?
"I don't got to be on alimony every monnth, that's you. That's you paying alimony every month.
Again, quite personal. Would a Mosley, did you every get your ***els back response have been out of line? What about a, did you ever figure out which one of your people got you for them gems? Or, are you still looking for Big Willie?
"That's not Mosley promotions,it's Golden Boy Promotions...
It might be Mayweather promotions, but who exactly is on Floyd's staff? Who has been the licensed promoter of record on all of fights since Mayweather's victory over Oscae De La Hoya?
"Leonard is making more than Shane on this fight", Mayweather can be heard saying in the background.
This is extremely doubtful since **********.com understands that Ellerbe only receives 1% of Mayweather's purses, tops. Ellerbe began with Floyd as an unknown holding a spit bucket, 1% might be all he's entitled to based on his boxing acumen-it's not as though fighters flooded to Haymon's understudy during Floyd's absence-but the brother should ask for a raise if he has to keep watching Floyd getting his pedicures done by "Chun-Li."
Were I Shane Mosley, I would take the John Mugabi approach and give the same answer to every question, "Floyd where did all your money go?"
During their pre-fight hype, Mugabi, who wasn't well versed in English responded to each question by saying, "I'm going to knock him out." Mugabi used his limited vocabulary to get under Hagler's skin. After watching the youtube vid, it's clear that Mosley can't out-talk Mayweather. Sometimes less is more, and if Mosley asks the simple questions Mayweather can't/won't answer he is more than capable of shutting Mayweather up.
IRON MIKE MAKES TIN FOIL OUT OF FLOYD
Very few people know that my good friend Mike Tyson had Floyd Mayweather Jr scared to death before Big Willie got a hold of him. Mayweather even gave Tyson a significant sum of cash after they wound up face to face after a longstanding personal gripe stemming over Mayweather using a female to try and get Tyson into trouble with the law. Vegas residents don't have to take my word for it, just go to Mack's barbershop and ask about it.
USADA TRAVIS TYGART UNDERSTANDABLE BUT UNEDUCATED REMARK
“One athlete wanted to do the right thing, and we want the right thing for all athletes, and so it's pretty simple to put the right program in place if there's a desire for it. I think that you have to give credit to the athlete and the camp.”
“Look, I think, absolutely, that he has taken an admirable stand. Any time an athlete wants to have an effective anti-doping program in place, and he has the leverage to do it, then they should demand it. And so, when you have one athlete who is unwilling to participate in a single match, but has plenty of other opportunities, I mean, I think that that needs to be well-respected, and, well-supported as well.” Tygart said to Fanhouse.com
Do the highest profile boxing matches deserve the highest standards of drug testing? Absolutely. However, Mayweather's stance would be far more admirable had he spent any of his time off making the slightest efforts to improve the standards of the sport we love. Instead he gave Big Willie more than alimony, he gave him all-d-money.
Saying Mayweather had the leverage to do this is ridiculous. His demands cost him the Pacquiao fight and Mosley wouldn't be agreeing to his demands were it not for his previous failed test and affiliation to Balco
