This was my response to Greg Leon's Funny Money article. I wrote into his mailbag. Now let's see if he responds.


Damn, G....I just got through reading your article Funny Money. I guess I will have to come up with a new name for this genre of journalism. I guess we can call it Scorned Journalism since you are always catching feelings. Now you are trying to prep Mosley for his next press conference? I guess Mosley is as incompetent in his business affairs as Mayweather portrays him. My question is....If Floyd is getting personal with Mosley then what the hell does that got to do with you? I'm still trying to figure that one out. The information about "your good friend" Mike Tyson, I guess was suppose to be priceless. Who cares Greg? Who cares? Are we suppose to think less about Floyd now? Floyd is no gangsta so what's the revelation there? If you ask me..Floyd has a case for extortion on how you said it went down but I guess Tyson is fine with you putting his personal business out there as long as it fits your personal agenda. Something is wrong up there Greg, a few marbles are missing. As much as you try to distance yourself from Floyd the more you seem like a scorned lover. One thing I will say about Floyd, he's a promoter's dream. He takes the villian role to the next level. He gets everyone heated so he heated that they go into their pockets during a recession in hopes of seeing someone, anyone knock his head off. Greg he got you so heated that you took time out to write a rebuttle for Mosley. Damn, that Mayweather has his ways of making people react to his actions. Greg you can say what you want about the guy but the bottom line is the guy generates huge sums of money. He indeed is in the check cashing business as he says. Some may complain but the first law of nature is self preservation. Greg you can write negatives things about Floyd until you are blue in the face but it is not going to change anything.

Tyson hasnt ever really said bad words about Floyd like that and Floyd always keeps bodyguards around him in public. No way he would go out with a ton of cash withotut those guys around him. Well actually, G. Leon commented on Floyd's financial woes, and Floyd got all butt hurt about it and stopped ***ing with btalk. Funny how Floyd loves to mention everyone else's money issues (Judah, Pac, Mosley, etc), yet when it comes to mentioning his issues, he complains like a scorned whore.

$30mil against JMM? Nah man. Far from actually. Its reported that he made $15mil for that fight. So lets figure it out. He had to pay taxes and all other fee's on that $15mil which will leave him with about $8mil. Then he had to pay back taxes that he owed. Floyd's lucky if he pocketed a mil or 2 from that fight.
