I love how u get this random **** from my posts! It's comical.

My point is people in general like people that are more similar to them. If Klitchko was American he would get more respect. If Bernard wasn't American he wouldn't get as much respect. If Arce was Amerinian he would be a bum. If Vic Darchynian was Mexican he would be huge.

But since you want to go along the route of American's are self centered. Why is it that you never hear artists from other countries (other than, who would have thought? England) on American airwaves. While the Beatles, Radiohead etc. are loved all around the world?

Anyone who thinks an AMERICAN is more likely to side with Floyd Mayweather over Vitaly Klitschko is an imbecile. Then again, anyone who thinks the Beatles aren't loved in America is an imbecile anyway.

The only imbecile in this thread here is the one who is twisting other peoples words and not even arguing a real point.

If you can't agree that foreigners are not as respected as other Americans than I got nothing left to say to you.

Yeah, Americans just love the American fighters. Look at Kelly Pavlik, that superstar. No way Manny Pacquiao ever gets as big as him. Get lost, man. The only reason why the Klitschko's aren't stars is because one of them takes years off at a time, while the other one makes Pernell Whitaker look like Arturo Gatti.

            Two, I don't think he's exciting and I don't think he's regarded as exciting.
Imo if hopkins was from the uk he would be hated in america, i mean really hated

If wlad was from ohio he would be a big big star in the states i think, same with vitali, a lot of those pawing lefts for wlad would turn into jabs softening his opponent up and vitali would be the guy who opponents fear, the heavy with the best ko percentage ever, lap it up

I don't think you understand. Kelly Pavlik is not a superstar, he's a regional star. His pay-per-view with Hopkins (yeah, that guy) did horrific numbers. These guys aren't BIG stars.

              Get it?

lol yes GREAT comparison. A+ fighter to a B+ fighter.

                How bout a real comparison?

Kelly Pavlik is roughly the same style/skill as Froch. Straight forward walk them down simple jab n right hand ****.

Kelly is headlining PPVs and is an American country boy hero while Froch is an overrated Euro.

Or even better. Kessler who is 2x better than Kelly is totally unknown in the US.

                EVERYONE BUT YOU GETS IT.

Your the one missing the point. You're trying to make ur point comparing Kelly pavliks star power pacquaiou how ****ing ****** is that? Who deserves more star power based on resume and skills? Pacman.

I just made a comparison to Kelly and Froch/Kessler. They have same resume/skills. Possibly even better. BUT the are not as well known/respected.

So star power is based on resume.

                      Well in that case...
