Why didn't MOSLEY cross over after beating DLH??

You take every other fight who has beaten DLH and ull notice they crossed over to mainstrea. They started getting big fights and the money.

Now you take mosley, I herd he was goan fight BERTO for 3million??? WTF?? Yea 3million lot of money to ppl on here but for a guy like mosley who has 46 fights and beaten lots of good fighter he should be gettin 20million a fight!!!!

Mosley didn't capitalize coupled with losses on dangerous fight which he should have avoided IMO.

I wouldn't say shane wasn't a force to be reckoned with... He's always been a tough fight on any given night. I have no idea why he hasn't made more money though... All the best skill set in the world from a young age.

Think the problem with mosley is that he LOVES to fight!!! That came back to bite him when he fought Winky/Forrest!!!!

I don't buy that he fought Vernon as an excuse. If I am not mistaken he fougth Forrest on reg HBO... And, by that time he had like 3 title defenses sandwhiched between Oscar and Forrest. And all 3 title defenses were KO's. He just was missing something. That didn't catch the mainstream eye.... And, Hopkins also didn't cross over either after Oscar IMO. But, what makes weird is that Shane had a much more fan friendly style...

I think it's simple. During his prime years when he could have exploded into a PPV sensation he did not have a power broker manager with strong network ties such as a Hayman or a Finkel. He had his wife which ultimately and "quietly" closed a lot of revenue doors for him without him even knowing.

              One name: Vernon Forrest.

Really, he just didn't have the people around him that could capitalize on the springboard of beating De La Hoya. Mosley's whole career has suffered because of mismanagement.

There are so many super stars during that time from welterweights-heavyweights that's why he didn't really got the attention that he deserved.
