    Devon Alexander Vs Juan Urango

This will be a good fight to watch on 6th march the WBC LWW champ vs the IBF LWW champ and the winner of this fight will not only unify 2 titles but also will most probably face either Tim Bradley or Amir Khan or Pacqiuao...i reckon this fight has a 50/50 chance for either fighter to win....May the best man win

I don't know about 50/50, but the fight should be competitive. I think Devon will win a UD, but it's hard to commit to that because I haven't seen his chin against world class competition. Especially against big, powerful guys like Urango. I look forward to it.

should be a good fight, i think devon will get KOd late when comfortably ahead on the cards. Basing that on Urango's relentlesness more than anything. He'll keep coming forward and wont give up - which should make it good to watch.
Wouldnt be surprised if Alexander made it the full 12 and won the decision- i dont really know how good he is at taking punishment so that'll be the deciding factor. Just a hunch Urango will get to him late.

Oh - and i bet the winner gets stripped by one of the 2 organisations before the next fight so the belts wont be unified for long!

A lot of people seem to be picking Alexander based on the fact that he can probably out box Urango. I imagine a lot of them dont know how hard it is to be elusive against a tank like Urango for a full twelve rounds. Juan wont stop, he wont even slow down, and he hits HARD. Serious test for Alexander, this is pretty much his make or break moment. For Urango it would be another staple victory to keep him in the hunt for the big boys.
Either way I think its going to be a hell of a fight to watch.

I dont think it will be a great watch if im honest bro, i think Alexander tkes it on points but with Urango u gotta run or hold a fair bit it seems if u wanna win, Guy is an Ox and can really **** but is pretty predictable and somewhat plodding

I agree this is a good match up and should be exciting. My head says Alexander on points, my heart says Urango by KO.

I reckon Alexander is the better fighter and will beat Urango similar to the way Berto did. And i agree neither guy is special, but it's got every chance of being a fun fight.

My question is: what has Devon Alexander ever done to indicate he can out box a heavy handed douser like Juan Urango? There really isnt any evidence to suggest he can.
Sure, he can out point him for a few rounds on skill alone. 12 rounds with a monster like that coming at you is a very long time, and Devon has never faced anything like that. Not saying he cant do it, its just naive to assume he can. Andre Berto is MUCH stronger than Devon and has a lot more power, and is also much more proven.
