Floyd not throwing in combinations will hurt him in this fight.Shane will have a good jab for this fight and won't over commit like with margacheato.He will take his time and impose his size and punching power early.iI can see Mayweather making the right adjustments.Then i can see mosley making it a more grinding fight laying his body on mayweather and throwing combos in close this should be a wonderful fight cause i know even if i see it this way mayweather is very skilled and will be answering

I agree I would like to see Floyd throw in combo more ofter, cause it's exciting when he does. He puts punches together beautifully but if it's not warranted then why do it? Shane is gonna have to make those jabs count and throw them with some meaning, not the lil pitty pat triple half thrown jab that he uses to disguise the right hand that he's trying to drop on you. Dont forget that Floyd can fight in close quarters so if Shane tries to grind it out, he's not going to be grinding on a punching bag, Floyd is gonna throw short shots in return.

weeeelllllllllll firstly, shane agreed to random olympic style testing. i guess he has nothing to hide. secondly, shane admitted his ped use and sayz he is clean. a move backed up by his acceptance of random blood and urine testing.

Funny stuff...Mayweather promotions works and needs golden boy promotions to operate. as much as we like or dislike Oscar,his star power has gotten him up there in the promotion game which means other fighter promotion companies i.e. mayweather rely on his heavyweight status amongst the promoters out there.

Thanks Rome. I appreciate your view and Im not by any means saying that Floyd wont have a very tough fight on his hands dealing with Shane. You can take into consideration wingspan and weight and call them what they are fighter advantages, it doesnt change that fact that they weighed-in at the same weight class for that particular encounter. Right?

I dont expect Floyd to fight the same fight that he fought in Sept. But you do have to admit you dont see Floyd submit to his opponents style after the 1st 4 rounds. And if we are gonna bring up Money being the smaller fella(which is Very true) I'll say one fighter with wingspan..........Chico. Now Shane is faster and more skilled than Chico, so Im not comparing the two, just using the reach to set some perameters in place to use as a measuring stick for how each fighter reacts to the same adversities, in this case we'll use the taller rangier opponent. Floyd handles reach well....Shane doesnt. Floyd handles lateral movement well.......Shane doesnt. Floyd finds away to negate speed.......Shane doesnt(Plus Shane hasn't fought anyone close to being as fast as him, and Floyd has fought someone faster than him{ZAB}). See what I'm sayin?

You do make a strong case chief.lol You right Floyd did make adjustments and beat the hell out of Mr chico (R.I.P. by the way).But we have to take into account that chico had a very weak chin as was documented in his career.Were as forest (Also R.I.P.)was imo a stiffer opponent then chico.You can make and argument that both were k.o. in thier career's but chico was down alot and k.o. alot by small man.Forest only time he was ko was against mayorga with a lucky punch.I agree with you Floyd handles speed and movement better then Shane.Imo shane handles adversity better how many times have we seen mayweather in adversity in the ring?Once in a fight i felt he lost against jlc.Oh yea about them being the same weight. i think pac and mayweather fan's are crazy lol and they both feel if you dont go for their guy you are a ***** are whatever they are called are a pacfart or whatever truth be told they are great fighter's of this era and i love watching them both but i can not tell a lie this will be the first time in year's were i don't buy a pac ppv sorry but he is gonna beat clottey and the undercard is bad so nope won't be buying that at all lol

I agree Rome 100%. I dont get into all the name calling these fighter's and posters have names and I will address them as such. I too wont buy the Pac fight(And I ALWAYS buy a Pac fight), but Clottey is taylor made for Pac, and I dont care for how Pac's camp is operating at this moment, not to mention the crappy undercard.

This is gonna be a tough fight to watch as I have enjoyed watching both of these boxers throughout their careers. I honestly think that FMJ's skills and determination will prevail. He is very focused in the ring through just about anything(See... Zab fight when all hell broke loose and you will see what I'm sayin).

Shane has "HEART" and a damn good skill set to work with as well, BUT he has alot of bad habits and once the fight doesn't go according to plan those bad habits will unveil themselves, and no matter who the trainer is in the corner of Mosley they will not be able to get him to do the things that need to be done to adjust and cover up those habitual flaws once that ball begins to roll(See... Both Forrest and Wright fights and then you should see what I'm talkin bout).

The thing that most people I think are overlooking is that fact that they are BOTH great finishers.

(Side Note) For those of you out there talking about Floyd and refering to him as 146 pounder and saying that he cheated JMM....STOP IT!!!!! He didn't make the catch weight on purpose. It was to show team Pac that he will NOT fight them at a "catchweight" of 142, 143, 144, 145, or 146. It was done to eliminate that from the negotiation table from the jump. Discussion on that subject should now be closed.

FMJ did not go for the "KILL" in the JMM fight 1). to get the rounds in; and 2). to show that he could completely outclass his opponent(which sometimes, sends a bigger message than the KO would). Besides NO ONE has knocked JMM out before why is it that all of a sudden Floyd is supposed to do it on a return match after two years off? Just asking.
