No whats crap are Ruiz boxing skills he can only get beat by middleweights for so long and still be champ. As soon as he fights someone like Vitali, or Tyson he is done, hopefully for good.

Ruiz would hold Tyson to an ugly decision or Tyson would get disqualified, no way would Ruiz switch to the style he fought Toney with. He wouldnt be that ******.

Another thing, Williams was brought in because he was more in the comfort zone for Tyson and looked what happened? Just last year everyone spitted the same words about Williams and it is a repeat with Mcbride.

Tyson isnt jack anymore the beginning of the end for Tyson was the Douglas loss and anybody who is a realist knows this and knows Tyson was done when Holyfield got a hold of him. Since that Douglas loss Tyson hasnt done anything to be considered a contender or a future champion.

Why is it every thrend some how winds up discussing the vertures of John Ruiz? ( i know why, i just don`t wanna say it AGAIN!)
McBride is a terrible excuse for a fighter. But i think people are missing the point. We know Tyson is gonna KO this bum, thats why he has been picked. What i wanna know is why are people not condeming Tyson for such a poor choice opponent. Don`t give me the tune up fight excuse. The guy is 40 next year, Danny Williams was his tune up fight. All his fans keep telling of Tson regaining the title blah blah. Does anyone realize how ****** that sounds in light of this fight being made?
Wake up and see it for what it is. Tyson trying to make as much money as possible without taking any risks. This is not the attitude of a man in mind to win a title. It`s a whore, a whore selling his name for a cheap trick at the back of a bus shelter. A wrinkled whore who`s only sexual attration is her experience and dirty reputation, like a whore, Tyson is standing on the street corner and he`s going up to the lowest customers on the block.

I've seen McBride fight a couple times in person. He's a big, decent fighter who has already reached the summit of his career. He is NOT on the same level as even an old Tyson. He's not as bad a Peter McNeely, but still not an "A", and maybe not even a "B" class opponent. If Tyson looses, his career is over and must retire or go the same way as Holyfeild.

I love how pathetic you all's logic when you say Ruiz gets beat by middleweights, yet no heavyweights in the div can beat him. Why? Because Ruiz the top hw in boxing today. Those two middleweights prob beat any of the other hw's for sure at the times they fought Ruiz.

If Tyson takes longer than 2 rounds with this guy, Tyson should retire. Iron Mike in 1 is my pick, not that anybody cares. McBride has never fought anybody like Mike Tyson. Tyson has fought plenty like McBride. This could go the way of Sammy Scaff. It should.

The height is a plus for Tyson. It will help prepare him for Vitali Klitschko's height, and probably skill level. Vitali probably is not much more skilled than this McBride. I'm only partially joking.

Unlike Williams, who actually had been in with a few name guys( Sinal Sinai Sam (sp?), Julius Francis to name a couple) Mcbride has not been in the ring with even close to top 10 competition. A 1 legged tyson should be able to take him out in 2. if not he should retire to tearing up nightclubs in Arizona like he was doing before . Ill be there to see the spectacle

tyson maybe is not as he was, but he still got enough to ko mcbride
easy. mcbride is a slow and big target and we know what tyson can do like he did to bruno. i see tyson ko mcbride within 3 rounds.
