BoxingScene.com reached out to former Contender series star Peter Manfredo Jr. to get his take on potentially fighting Danny Jacobs. Rick Reeno reported earlier today that the fight was off. Manfredo said he start getting calls and texts about fighting Jacobs and it was news to him. "I started getting all these calls and I didn't know anything about it. My promoter hadn't said anything to me."

If you and your management had any kind of brains you would realize that millions will see you fight if you were on this card, and if for some miracle you put on a good showing, which is so slim because you're career is a complete dud, but if for some strange reason you put on a good showing then maybe you could demand a bigger fight because people would be interested in you.
