    Matchmaking matters.

    It was the logical conclusion during three very good fights last weekend no one could have known to look forward commensurate to what was delivered in the ring. The Escalante-Roman main event on ESPN2 was expected to be pretty good; it was a little better than that. Then, in undercard matches which didn’t feature established names, Daniel Estrada-Angel Rivero and Gabriel Rosado-Saul Roman proved why today’s lesser known are always tomorrow’s known commodities.

        The Escalante-Roman scrap, was one of the best of the year so far. Perfect story line and backdrop, plus Escalante and Roman showed tremendous heart, especially Escalante when he saw that he wouldnt be able to get Roman outta there quickly, the kid had to dig deep to pull out that win.

          Hopefully devon/juan is a good fight,looking forward to seeing this one ,in which style will prevail, but if i was a betting person ,would have to go with devon ud,
