      NO.

At Welterweight the guy lived up to the hype in every way. And while getting dominated by Hopkins and Winky took the shine off him a little, that was out of his best weight class.

            No.

What you have to remember is that size can overcome technical superiority some of the time and this worked for Tito as a WW even in the fights he was technically inferior in, his extra size and power was enough to overcome the technical superiority of some of his opponent but against Wright/Hopkins that physical superiority was taken away and it was a case of their technical skills against Tito, only one winner there.

Tito was an absolute beast man. Great fighter. I loved watching this guy fight.

I agree with the poster who said the Hopkins and Winky losses, and I think Roy Jones loss too, affected the way people look at him.

Beat Hector Camacho, then a 56-0 Yory Boy Campas, and a 32-0 Oba Carr back to back to back defending his IBF title.

Has a win over Pernell Whitaker, I know Whitaker wasn't at his best I'm just stating the facts.

Fought undefeated Olympic gold medalists, De La Hoya and David Reid, back to back in 2 different weight classes and beat both of them.

Knocked out an undefeated Fernando Vargas, arguably ruined Vargas' career, in one of the best fights I've ever seen.

Moved up to middle weight and demolished William Joppy who was considered one of if not the best middleweight at the time.

Tito had a great career and deserves all the praise he gets.

Variety of punch should not mean anything if you win or dominate, if your asking was Tito one dimensional then the answer is yes, certainly not overrated though.

Tito was a great WW and JMW, his size, stamina and power made him one of the best. Once he lost the size advantage at MW and his power was watered down though he was a one trick pony. That should take nothing away from Tito's greatness, he's easily an ATG WW.
