Watching tape can be good and bad. Floyd will watch a guy fight but I doubt he sits and researches them, he knows its all about adapting.
Most if not all the guys that face floyd study tapes, they plan an attack but on fight night they get a differen look. So all the studying is useless now, so can they adapt is key.

Studying tape works more in team sports where certain formations can tip you off. Not saying it doesn't work in boxing, but I do understand where floyd is comming from.
