IMO, I don't think it's wise for Floyd to be going on interviews and he should wait until Pac's fight is over.
Fans who like Pac and Clottey already made up their minds and are going to purchase the PPV. The only affect Floyd will have is for casual fans to gain interest on who this Pacquiao fighter is that Floyd keeps on criticizing during his interviews. And we all know that Pac will ALWAYS be brought up when Floyd promotes Shane fight.
Floyd doesn't fight til May, that's 2 months away! But Pac is fighting in two weeks. Floyd is not doing himself a favor by only hyping Pac-casual fans could possibly purchase the PPV just to see.
Any publicity is good publicity.
