Bigger puncher - Gerald McClellan or Kelly Pavlik?

I remembered today that Arum called Pavlik the hardest punching middleweight he'd ever seen.

I wanted to see whether anyone agrees with him. Obviously Pavlik's a hard puncher, but the hardest at 160 ever? I actually think McClellan had more brute power, I also like Hearns's pop more. Pavlik's a crude puncher, he doesn't really get a great deal of leverage much of the time I've notice but his power seems to come from his shoulder, it's quite unique. He times the uppercut very well.

Pavlik might have more physical strength but i believe as you said that G-Man and Hearns had more destructive power because of better leverage, technique and speed.

With that said Kelly Pavlik is still a great puncher.

Arum has been smoking something, Pavlik is an accumulation puncher.

McClellan is definitely the harder puncher. I think he would beat Pavlik, too.

              McClellan.

Pavlik is more of an acumulation puncher.

I agree with the other posters that Pavlik is an accumulation puncher, he will chip away at you consistently.

Earl is correct AA hits much harder than Pavlik imo.

I'm a huge Pavlik fan, but I gotta go with McClellan. Also Julian Jackson, he probably hits harder than both Pavlik and McClellan.
