Whoa, this is a difficult one for me to call. I like kostya, and I think he was a great fighter. But when he quit on the stool against Hatton still is fresh in my mind. And you have Bradley who is a pressure fighter, who can box, and has as big of a heart as anyone has seen in boxing. So as hard as this is for me, I have to say that Bradley would win with a SD.

Tszyu was flat footed, could only fight from long range, was wide open to overhand rights, could not handle a fighter who got in the pocket or inside because he had no inside game.
Bradley would probably use his speed, turn him, reset him, and pot shot his way to a decision imo. Tszyu's best win is Zab Judah.
KT......KT is not overrated bro.......he was the real deal.....too smart for Bradley IMHO

The thing to remember about the Hatton situation is that he had returned in the previous match from about a 2 year injury layoff.....mid thirties, inactive and struggled to make weight...his eyes were sunken and he bruised up really easily.....sure signs a fighter has struggled to get down........Hatton was also able to "wrestle him to death" as FMJ put it.....this thread is based on prime KT.........
Maybe i'm biased because i'm aussie and he was my favourite fighter before he retired but i say he beats Bradley......

You really haven't seen much of Tszyu, have you? To newbs like yourself,Tszyu is this devestating puncher based on his knockout victory over an overrated glass jawed fraud like Zab Judah, but to people who have seen the majority of Tszyu's fights,he never was this great knockout artist he was made out to be.

Ah,the prime Tszyu who got his arse handed to him anytime he fought an opponent with a pulse.

Cotto has a greater resume at 140 than Kostya Poo does.Last edited by gimmeyapudpud; 03-02-2010, 04:54 AM.

Everyone who says Kostya was overrated or have crappy opponents hasn't mentioned who they are?
De la hoya left that division as Kostya was rising up. He also had an excellent amateur and professional career which anyone would take in a heartbeat. If there are no big names in the division he does he fight? He never ducked anyone form my memory.
Kostya had heaps of heart as he was twice on the canvas in round one of his fight for the interim belt against Diosbelys Hurtado, but recuperated to beat him by a knockout in five is one example.
Everyone just has the Hatton defeat on their mind, and that was one of the dirtiest fights I've seen hatton would of had points taken off if he wasn't at home.
Bradleys' only big fight was a Nate Campbell win, which Nate Campbell didn't chose not to continue as he was cut. He obviously doesn't have heaps of power (from his record), but I havent seen enough to comment on him.
I would say Kostya by Decision but only based on the fact the I havent seen bradley fight enough.

That's the whole problem, who are they? Who are these crappy mandatory challengers Poo spent his entire career fighting?
De La Hoya took a stop gap at 140,just like he had at 130 and 135 to pick up some titles. While De La Hoya was taking on one of the best p4p fighters in the world,Poo was getting owned by a decent at best Vince Phillips.Kostya Poo also wanted nothing to do with a rematch with Phillips either.
Tszyu never had the testicular fortitude to step up and face elite competition as he knew he would lose and get humiliated.
Tszyu never showed "heaps of heart" at any point in his career.
Kendall Holt and Junior Witter are better than the vast majority of the crappy mandatory challengers Tszyu seemed to love fighting.
