kudos to the comment about shane contributing more to the sport and giving the fans more respect, because that couldn't be any more evident or true given his fights over the years.

comparing shane to gatti continues to blow my mind. gatti was never p4p or even a-list, he was very popular and entertaining, a true warrior who made bank because of it. but if you think mayweather will outclass shane you haven't watched enough mosley fights (OR mayweather fights for that matter).

mosley and gatti are similar in their mindset but you better believe if they had ever fought shane would have put him to sleep, not just torture him to a stoppage. there's a difference in the way shane ko's and floyd ko's. floyd's are always accumulation and he typically only gets the tko's on smaller men. the only examples that go against that i can think of are diego corrales but 135 was a different world for floyd. and as far as gatti, like i said gatti was never considered world class even in his prime. same as mickey ward- they made each other famous.

at 147 he pretty much just outboxes and hopes his hands dont break. if shane wins i promise you floyd will say he broke both of his hands or something to that effect.

Shane has taken steroids and EPO, cheated, and continues to lie to this very day about his steroid usage. He has offered no apology or even admits to his wrong doings.

Shane has not contributed more to the sport of boxing than Mayweather.

he's taken the toughest fights available up into his late 30's and has given up more of himself in more entertaining fights. i have always liked to watch and apreciated floyd's skills but this is boxing. and the risk takers deserve the credit.

and as a fan of his you're OK with him lying to YOU as a fan an, the media, and everyone else when everytime he goes on camera and says it was flaxseed oil and he had no idea what he was taking?

If he came out and admitted to what he did and apologized, like Jason Giambi, I would have said ok shane, you're a great boxer and made a mistake in your life. All if forgotten. But his lies is unacceptable and the only reason he gets away with it is of his good guy image.

i don't know that he's lying (you don't know that he's lying) and i'm not against him enough to even care. for all i know he blindly trusted a doctor about drugs that were in a temporary grey area- theres alot of juiced up pro athletes out there and some of them get away with it while others dont.

i'd imagine the technology to develop and synthesize new physical enhancement formulas is growing just as fats as everything else out there, there's probably some new juice already out now that won't get caught for another year or 2 maybe? i don't think anything is impossible.

or maybe shane is a liar whose been trying to save face all this time.

either way the man has laid it all out in the ring. won, lost, knocked people out, and has not been stopped or lost his pride in defeat.

that kind of human strength is what i like to see unveiled through the rigors of this sport (which i do not particpate in like some on here, im purely a fan of the drama and the athletic abilities showcased).

Mosley is tough and durable, Plus Money doesnt really go for the KO as much now. I think he will win a possibly wide UD, I dont see Mosley winning more than 3-4 rounds

The point is that it's not out of this world to believe Mosley can't be stopped.
Then saying Mosley has no chance against Flyod is hypocritical (not you personally).

I only have 3k points but I would bet them all that Mosley wont get KO'd, and if anyone is confident that he will you give ME good odds.

I wouldnt say that a prime dlh did not have very good power, his power was even good in the Mayweather fight, he throws a great left jab that hurts fighters.Plus many kos over his career Oscar could hit.
