Can Shane add more pressure than De La Hoya did in his matchup against Mayweather? Can an old Shane last for 12 rounds when an aging De La Hoya was clearly fading towards the later rounds of his fight with Mayweather? Does Shane have an answer for Mayweathers lightning quick jab or lead right hand?
I watched all of Mayweather's 40 fights this past week and its clear that pressure is the only clear way to beat him(Castillo in the first fight, De La Hoya, and Hatton were the only ones to successfully implement this strategy) as you cannot outbox the man as sooo many have tried.
But the more I think about an almost 40 Mosley being able to successfully pressure Mayweather into any sort of trap the more I slap myself back into reality and face the fact that even Mosley at his absolute best come May 1st, wont have the quickness, legs, or strength to hurt Mayweather anymore than De La Hoya could.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Mosley win as I think he's a more positive figure for the sport...
But if I was a betting man, I'm putting it all on Mayweather.
