If pac's camp asked for a 1mil/lb penalty, kentucky floyd will put them in a"take it or leave it situation". KFC could come in 1or 2 lbs overweight and pay 2mil max penalty, which is peanuts compared to the 40 mill or more he will receive, or pac's camp will totally cancel the fight and Kentucky Floyd Mayflower would have avoided killer southpaw Manny Pac.

Now, Pac's camp saw this and to make sure that Kentucky Mayflower doesn't escape them they made the 10mil/lb penalty.

If Kentucky Floyd Mayflower even comes 1 or 2 lbs overweight, definitely Pac's camp will risk it with the penalty and there would be no reason to cancel the fight and Kentucky Floyd Mayflower would have no escape.

Floyd is known to cheat on the weight before so I don't see any problem with it. It's just to keep Floyd in check. Manny has never been proven to do steroid before.
