I always thought he was ****ladeshi. This guy is a well respected sportscaster journalist in the Philippines. He just doesn't do boxing, because If I remember correctly he used to call basketball games, both for the Philippine professional leagues and International games where the Philippine teams are involved. He is a very patriotic Filipino. He even called University basketball in the Philippines.

What cracks me up is why people read his articles and then complain about what they just read? This guy lives and works in the Philippines and boxingscene just picks it up, sort of like newswire, and people get upset that it's pinoycentric or Mannycentric. Just don't read it.

So Manny Pacquiao is beating up his sparring partners huh...... Are we suppose 2 be like shocked or something? He's the #1 P4P fighter in the land & the guys he's going up against probably never even smelled the P4P list. That's what he's suppose 2 be doing. Its not like he's sparring with Shane Mosley or Paul Williams.

As long as Pac looks good in the gym and in sparring he should be good fight night. But some people look grreat in the gym but dont produce it on fight night, and Pac normally isnt this type. If he is great in sparring he usually is great come fight night.

Yeah, but he's going 11-12 rounds currently with 3-4 different boxes, so he's on the same tank of gas, and the other guys are fresh. How many times did you watch a fight on tv and it looks like all one guy has to do is land a clean blow, but they are both so spent, they can't do it. Thats the difference.

it didnt say he dropped someone in sparring. They dropped Rodela from the rotation.

and this article is misleading

You dont want to risk being cut or an injury during the last week of sparring so during the last week of sparring you go easy with smaller quicker fighters to keep your legs fresh and dismiss most of the sparring partners who gave you good action.
