No matter what it would make all of his fans proud, The TRUE FANS of his own country. The truth is that he's never fought in his homeland even though any fighter would agree to it.
wtf are you talking about? he's had 33 fights in the philippines.
he fought oscar larios in 2006 in the philippines.

do you realize how ****** your reasoning is?

why didnt duran bring the bigs fights to panama?
why didnt tito fight any of his big fights in puerto rico?
why didnt arguello have big fights in nicaragua?
    etc, etc.

patriotic fighters fight for their country, but they also fight where the money is.

WTF? is this a serious question? lol. I do remember pac already fought back home. TS do you think all the money is in the philippines? what about venue? l

It does not mean your not fighting in your country means your not fighting for the people in your country.

          Nice bait thread.

Why not just proclaim how much you hate Manny Pacquiao. You'll get tons of replies, I'm sure.

Bob Arum knows that they could stage a fight over there and still make more money but NOOOOO, He had to stage a fight for an american audience in Dallas. I just want to know, If Manny claims that he's such a great countrymen, Why doesn't he go have a big fight in his own land?
Well, first, not a lot of Filipinos can afford to watch it live. Second, would be security reason, although it will be unlikely that a terror attack will happen but Americans and other foreigners are always cautious about this. Third, would be there is no world class stadium or coliseum that the event will be held even Araneta coliseum is not that good.

It's possible though but Pac did had a fight here in RP when he was already famous that was some years ago when he fought a thailander guy.

If the fight is held in the Philippines and Floyd is his opponent, I don't know what will happen to Floyd and his team especially his father, they would probably be attacked by Filipinos or in tagalog term "kuyugin".
