Running is overrated in boxing anyway. Its ****** wasteful exercise. There are far better ways to prepare your body for a fight.

Some guys do overdo it though. Who was the guy that was running 12 a day, the guy that knocked out Santos. His name escapes me, he knocked him out in the first.

I find that the more I work the target mitts the much better my boxing conditioning is.
When I run 5 miles a day, it does almost nothing for my punching output in boxing, it feels like its totally useless for me.
