Why was a 19 year old with 14 fights moving up two weight classes for a title fight? Bad management.

Because he couldnt make 115, and since he had over 15o amateir wins and Vazquez JR had no amateur background infact he starte boxing at 21 years old they though he was easy pickings!

He BARELY made bantamweight for his last fight. All the pinoys said he performed bad at 118 because he was weight drained.

marvin's good, but nothing special. he doesnt have the dedication to achieve half the sht manny achieved. if he wants to be anything in this sport he's gotta grow up fast.

Probably true to some but not all. Marvin Sonsona's team was wrong to take a championship bout in his first fight at 122 (rushed, no tune up). Second, it was obvious he didnt have a very good training camp (no improvement in technique and skill). And third, wrong gameplan (he is not a counter puncher).
