boxing is about adjustments. knock out the guys you can , slug with the guys who are outbox you , go for a decision on guys you can't knock out , box with the guys who punch harder.

a guy who comes into a fight automatically thinking move , pot shot and win on points no matter who he faces gets nothing from me.
You can be defensive without running like the fighters I mentioned... Those fighters that mentioned roll with the punches, used angles, to avoid the punches. Even like a passed prime Duran against Barkley and Hagler in a weight-class he just didn't belong in was very hard to hit but didn't run...

Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest fighter of all time with Henry Armstrong a close second.

Muhammad Ali has had the most impact of any boxer in history.

Puerto Rico and Mexico are two of the greatest boxing nations ever. The United States is number one. The Philippines is the best boxing nation in Asia, while the UK rules Europe and Ghana in Africa.

Pacquiao is the first 7 division titlist and the first 4 time lineal champ and has never failed a drug test in his career.

PBF is one of the smartest fighters in and out of the ring and could be one the most skilled fighters to ever laced them up. One of the best lightweights ever whose resume at WW is highly questionable. He has a big mouth and at one point owned money to the IRS, but is also one of the sports true megastars.

Shane Mosley deserves a big payday, while Margarito needs to hang 'em up.

Cotto is a warrior whose resume trumps the above fighters' resumes (Pac, PBF, Mosley, Margarito).

Ricky Hatton never belonged in the upper echelon of boxing. This was the result of the PBF Hype Machine.

JMM moved up to two weight classes but was never suspected of taking PEDs.

Floyd Mayweather Sr is a convicted criminal who believes in kryptonite.

I agree on pretty much everything here.

If you can hit your opponent without him hitting you.

Then why not execute this stratergy? Does his odds of winning increase or decrease when he lands a punch?

If you posess the skills and talent to do so, then why not execute this stratergy?

Tell you this much, if I were a boxer, I'd like to hit and not get hit. & that's all I can say about that.
