At Ballys Casino in Atlantic City, top welterweight contender Mike Jones (20-0, 16 KOs) continued his run by pulling out a unanimous ten round decision over veteran Henry Bruseles (28-4-1, 15 KOs). The scores were were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-92. Bruseles had some moments during the action. Jones was able to adapt and use his better overall boxing abilities to pile up the points. The action was close in some of the early rounds. Jones took over the second half of the fight and dominated down the stretch.

He looked god after the 2nd round. He has ALOT to work on though. He was in with a career 140 Pounder. They will probably keep moving him slowly.
