I just read about Holt getting stopped tonight

He I guess was on an untelevised fight in Atlantic city on the Jones/Bruseles card and was stopped by Kaizer Mabuza (23-6-3, 14 KOs) in the 6th.

Sad, really thought he could have made a comeback at the top of the 140lb picture.

He is a head scratcher... I don't know what is wrong with him... He has solid skills, good size, good power... He is not a bad fighter. He just does not live up to his abilities... I even picked him in an earlier fantasy fight against Amir Khan. I think he has the style to beat him. But, now I don't which Holt will show up...

Holt has always been a mercurial guy. He has some of the fastest and hardest hands at 140 but he seems to have a proclivity for self destruction.

Somewhat of a pugilist masochist.

He's the kind of guy that can bounce back from this type of thing though.

I never was terribly big on Holt ever since Thomas Davis upset him on ESPN many moons ago in Chi-town.
