I don't like Trinidad for his arrogance and same goes for Toney.. But they are great and entertaining fighters.
My opinion a fighter should build his reputation with his hands in the ring, not with his mouth outside of it.

But this is what sells tickets and popularity. Ali did it and many followed: Tyson, Tarver, Toney, Trinidad.. ironic how all the "T"rash talkers start with a "T"

I've never heard De La Hoya, Tszyu, Holyfiled, Klitchkos, Barrera, and many others pile dirt on others... and those are my favorite fighters.

He might still be able to make a comeback without his father, if he really wants to. I think his father is past his best training days to say the least. What I want to know is, are the majority of his fans devasted or upset that he put on such a lackluster performance?

PS: Slavik suck my D**K...The sport just lost one of the best entertainers...Now you can pay to see Winky and Nard in a jab contest..
Shut the **** up Tito fanboi, go cry with him you ***. I could care less about Tito. Boohoo *****.

Dissapointed is how I feel. I am actually more dissapointed because of his retirement.

I've been thinking about this a lot over the past few days. Tito honestly got his ass handed to him, and I do think that a lot of it is the way his father trains him. Tito is getting a little long in the tooth now, and he needs to pull a Gatti if he wants to continue fighting.

If he does decide to get a new trainer and continue, he needs someone who will teach him upper body movement, how to move his feet and retain his balance, how to dance in, dig his feet into the canvas, pop his shots and get out.

Tito could still, even without adjusting his style, make some great and entertaining fights. His only losses come against people who are superior BOXERS in De La Hoya (yes, I know Tito got the decision, but we all know he lost), Hopkins and now Winky. If I were a pro boxers, and those were my only defeats in a career spanning nearly 15 years and 45 fights, I would find it hard to feel ashamed of my accomplishments. Everyone who beat him is bound for the IBHOF.

Anyway, if he retires, good luck to him. Next time I'm in PR, I'll have to look him up and make him buy me a beer. I know he can afford it!
If he sticks around with a new trainer, or not, I will still watch him fight. Even his defeats were entertaining to a true fan of the sport.

That is a man who showed passion and love for his people and the people of the world. Everytime he steped into the ring he was fighting for his people, he was fighting with heart. How dare you people question his heart yet challenge his skills. If he didnt have heart and didnt have skills then how the hell did he win over 35 fight by tko? I have nothing but respect for tito. Ya he is crying not becuase he lost but becuase his fathers decision. Forever will I be a trinidad fan. I wish that there were more fighters like him.
As for gotti ya he okay but not in the same class as tito, lets be realistic here oscar killed him punching bag, had the guy bleeding to death. Imagine what tito would have done to him knocked his ****en head off AND i LOVE GATTi
Mayweather kills him easy superior to average doesnt compare

I agree. But I'm sure his boxing days aren't over. We will be seeing more of him.

Hey, the guy is emotional because he's just announced his retirement. I might have shed a tear for the guy too, if I was there watching this thing happen. He gave us some good fights and it's sad to see him go out the way he did.
