Comments Thread For: Kaizer Mabuza Knocks Out Kendall Holt in Six Rounds

At Ballys Casino in Atlantic City, junior welterweight contender Kaizer Mabuza (23-6-3, 14 KOs) stopped former champion Kendall Holt (25-4, 13 KOs) in six rounds. After Holt got off to a good start in the first two rounds, Mabuza began to punish Holt over the next couple of rounds with very hard power punches. Holt was unable to come out for the seventh round. The fight was an IBF eliminator. Holt's status as a serious contender might be over after this loss.

Now do people understand why some other people who follow boxing feel like Timothy Bradley still has more to prove?

Thomas Davis also knocked Holt out in the first.

But yeah. I feel ya on Bradley though I like him a lot.

Witter was on the decline, and Peterson not proven, and Holt is so off and on.

No, Holt is an emotional fighter who fights to his level of comp. He probably took the guy lightly.

Still doesn't diminish the fact that Bradley beat a damn good fighter.
