i do agree with the protect yourself at all times but it looks like hes got his left hand holding his balls and his right trying to block that left hook, which obviously didnt block it. he didnt think he was coming so he was not in a good stance, he was standing straight up and his chin was up. it was hard to react from that exact position.

The ref has to stop the round idiot, fighters thinking they can stop and start on their own deserve to get KTFO.

TBH it looks like a suspect call.....but it ain't Romero's fault TBH, he did what he had to do and that's it.A lot of you guys were saying Luevano should have protected himself at all times and you should apply it to this fight too.

No doubt he took a low blow, Nino should have stepped back in good sportsmanship but this also isn't a tickling contest. Nino's job is to hurt his man and you can't fault him for that, look at Floyd vs. Gatti first round.

yeah that concepcion punch was definitely way late. he has a BAD habit of doing that.. he was even doing that in his most recent fight its almost like he hasnt learned.

I think the no-contest was a very good call by Suliman jr, if he gave the fight to Nino it would look like some serious bias going on. Also it's ****** of the WBC to have count Dracula as the ref as Nino doesn't speak English, he might have been screaming "Stop" but I doubt Nino knew wtf he was saying.
