Jack ****. And his fans want him to fight Hatton when Winky is probably gonna sign with Top Rank and fight on his undercard. Winky has got more left than Hatton does I think and Cotto would have the advantage of him coming down in weight if they fought. Cotto needs to go out on a big win and Hatton isn't it.

Well Floyd has never lost, was a champion 5 time world champion in 4 divisions at the time, was the undisputed Welterweight Champion, and #1 P4P. I don't Cotto is any of those things

Also he didn't even want to fight Oscar at 154 De La Hoya wanted that weight for the fight and offered to put his title on the line and Floyd agreed won and became a 6 world champion in 5 diffrent weight classes

          4 Cotto

This is a nice little challenge 4 Cotto. Nothing major. He's fought better guys b4 just not at this weight & it'll be interesting 2 see how he reacts if things get ugly in there. I hope Cotto comes back strong, wins the WBA Jr. Middleweight Title & makes some noise in the division. If he wins, I wonder who'd he go after next.

that's great, but you didn't answer my question

you asked what has cotto done to earn a title shot at 154

i asked what did floyd do to earn a title shot at 154

So just because someone has a Floyd avatar posting in a thread about Cotto you've gotta get on there case. To each his own I guess.

Strong undercard.... who are you kidding?!

The last time Arum worked hard to put forth a strong undercards it was in the 80's. This is what's going to happen, we will have Cotto and Foreman as the main event and the rest of the cards will be:

Chavez Jr. vs. Mid-West Tomatoe Can of the Week

Then Arum is going to close his eyes, and pick 2 of the following names out of a hat:

David Diaz, Segura, Antillon, Vanes and/or Gomez. They will obviously be in meaningless fights with extremely overmatched opponents!

Can anyone say Top Rank PPV!!!!

i'm helping him answer his own question. floyd got it because DLH wanted the fight

cotto got it because arum wants that fight

why are you harassing me on every thread? you're literally replying to me in 90% of the threads i write in

If you want to bring boxing back with a **** i'd suggest a stronger card. Not to mention the weeks around the PR day parade.

                    My layout :

                    1) Cotto vs Yuri
                    2) Montiel vs Morel
                    3) Juanma vs Concepcion
                    4) Arroyo twins
                    5) Calderon a so-so.
                    6) Wilfredo vazquez
                    7) Edwin Valero

Thats not bad. I have a feeling Martirosyan will win back some fan in his next performance, I think Ouma caught him daydreaming. Also Anthony Peterson vs David Diaz/ Humberto Soto will be very interesting, there has been big talk about that kid for a long time.
Hopefully Cotto puts it on Foreman, it would break my heart to see him forced out of boxing on a loss to an eventual nobody.
