DLH ducked him the 1st time after the Cotto fight, why do you think "the dream match" happened in the 1st place?

      i know he did.

that said , oscar needs one last fight.

he can't go out like he did. quitting on a stool , shut out by a blown up featherweight.

      he'll fight margarito.

Fighters need to go away once they quit in the way he did, its not like he was really even in danger of getting KTFO in my view. If Tony is anywhere near what he was pre SSM, he beats him kind of easily I think.

Did anyone see how old he looked and the gut the DLH had on him when he was in the ring last night after Escalante's win?

I can see this totally outsell Mayweather and Pacquiao. No one does it like Oscar. He will say something like "this time it's personal, this time I'm ready, this time... no bricks" I can see allot of green in a potential match between these two. And at 154 the last Oscar we've see would have crushed Margarito in 2 rounds.

I don't think that DLH can beat him at this stage in his career. The fight isn't in him anymore like it still is with Mosley. Oscar is a business man now.

And to be honest, Margarito doesn't deserve a fight against DLH as that would be a huge payday, and let's face it: The guy does not deserve that.

De La Hoya had his chance to fight Antonio Margarito, and he ducked him.

I'm a big Oscar fan so I will root for him to beat Margo, but Oscar is pretty much done, although I would love to see him beat Margarito and then retire with some dignity.

Had nothing to do with Mayorga and Vargas being personal.De La Hoya took the fight with Vargas once he knew Vargas was damanged goods and Mayorga is made for boxer/punchers.

Margarito is past it just like De La Hoya.

No kangaroo meat this time around for Oscar.

Give Antonio his license back and make it happen.

one of the few instances where i wouldn't mind Margarito using plaster...i'd pay $50 to watch that fight
