how so? the winner will have beaten more top super middles than calzaghe ever did. not to mention these guys are all in their prime unlike most of calzaghe's opponents.

The winner will have a better resume than calzhage that's for sure! Froch already has a resume that's equal if not better anyway, with wins of Reid, Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell considering he's spoken of as though he were a bum thats an awesome resume.

I can't remember the logistics of the SuperSix off the top of my head, but what if the rest of the outcomes are dubious/debatable like Froch vs Dirrell, and the semis and final turn out to be absolue stinkers where it almost impossible to pick who actually "won" the fights.

I know thats a long shot, but I dont think you can say the winner will be regarded as the best.

What if Froch and Dirrell won all their fights, met in the final, and the fight/outcome was the same as their first round meet? Who would you say was best then?
Dirrell. Because he has beaten him in the first fight and will definitely beat him again.

Calzaghe's best wins: Lacy and Kessler
Let's say Ward wins. His best wins could then probably be:Kessler, Green, Dirrell, Froch and Abraham.

Agreed. Whoever wins the Super Six has by far the best 168 pound resume in history. Calzaghe, Jones and Toney may have been better fighters, but their resumes at 168 are not that special.
