    Fight Night Round 2

I was thinking about buying it, I have the original and I think its one of the best boxing games. Does anyone have it and what do you think about it?

i like it. i prefer it to FN 2004, but my m8 has opposite opinion. there's less of a range of things to do in training but, they are IMO more realistic. there is a big range of items to buy and the money for fights system works well. the items arent too bad either, although in some cases the effects they have are unrealistic or the best gloves only come in 2 colours, etc. its good that you can change up/down 1 weight class also as it swaps the challenge throughout the game, fighting faster or stronger fighters all through. also you can clinch and fight as amateur as well as spar. you can win an amateur title, although this means you have to turn pro so you cant be an amateur legend like kindelan, though you can try by just recording 1st round KOs in every fight. i got 4 knock downs in 16 punches and the other guy hit me 4 times all in 1 round KO. anyone beat that?

If you have the original then you would love this game. Get it, you won't be dissapointed, it is the best boxing game ever made..until Fight Night 3.

Check out the arcade forum and look under the "pisses pants" thread. I posted a video clip of Round 3. Insane.

FN 05 is tight I finally got beat by stoppage, I was winng my 5th fight as a HW and had the guy down twice in the 1st and once in the 2nd, after the 2nd KD he head butted me like crazy, my cut was over 900 and my swell was 500+, to all who know the game knows that this is bad, so the next round instead of coming out swinging I heard the guy say,"LOOKS LIKE THEY MAY STOP THE FIGHT,DUE TO HIS CUTT" so I put up my defence to block my head and I got stop by BS body shots, I was still landing but they stopped the fight, I was mad but then again more realistic than normal boxing games
