I say David Haye. Why you ask.
Heavyweights minus the modern times are usually held on a higher pedestal when compared to other divisions.
Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest boxer of all time yet most of the general public never even heard of him. I'm sure they heard of Ali, Foreman, Tyson and Lewis though. Why? Because Robinson was never a heavyweight.
Haye just made the cover of GQ in Britian. He will beat John Ruiz and likely defend his title several times and my guess possibly defeat one out of the two Klits. Haye won the heavyweight title he was rocketed as a top 3 threading topic on Twitter. That status will never happen to Amir Khan or Carl Croch.
Carl Froch has already been exposed. Dirrell had him on ***** street and he lacks basic boxing skills. He may get past Kessler however anyone else in the Super Six whoops him.
Amir Khan's talent and management can only take him so far. He simply can not take a punch. He will have a Prince Naseem run and I am a big Khan fan.Comment

Amir Khan will be the greatest when all is said and done. He is talented, very young(23) and has Roach by his side. On top of that the division he is in right now is very packed.
David Haye will be 2nd if he manages to beat the Klitschko brothers.
Carl Froch is already at the end of the career and his only recognizable win was against past-prime Jermaine Taylor
where he basicly won cus Taylor gassed out.

Khan will never approach the achievements of Froch and Haye. His chin will prevent him from doing that. I just don't understand people hyping him so much.... EVERYONE takes punches in boxing. When you get to a high level you take punches, Mayweather, Leonard, Hopkins... EVERYONE has to take punches.
As soon as Khan stops ducking everyone with a KO ratio of more than 20% he'll be blasted out of the ring in no time. He has NO CHIN WHATSOEVER. His style is also very amatuerish still - no inside game at all.
Haye's got a far better chin than Khan... ever see the Fragomeni fight? (Yes aware he isn't that big a puncher - but he is still a 200lb dude).
I think that Froch is perhaps has the worst technique I have ever seen from a boxer on the world stage... but he gets stuff done...Comment

Well the scene is set perfectly for haye to revive the heavyweight division, and if he does it he'll be remembered in much fonder terms than anyone else. I think he probably will as well. By the time hayes fought chagaev vitali will have most probably picked up an injury and retired, and I've always maintained that haye would probably beat wlad on the right night
Froch has a fair to middling chance of winning the super six, but if he doesnt hes going to fade into retirement pretty quickly i think, i doubt he'll have much left if he gets a beating from kessler or Abraham
Khan? I think the boys headed for decent things, but if he keeps moving up in weight hes going to have problems. Hes still not taken world class punches at light welter. When they stick him in with bradley or Urango, or Maidana for that matter, i'll voice an opinion. I dont really buy into the whole 'he got knocked out, therefore hes chinny' theory (look at manny pacquiao, KO'd twice, is he chinny?), but its hard to say anything about him until we've seen him in a real fight with a real world class fighter.
I pick david haye. Heavyweights are always considered greater for their acheivements than lighter weights, and Hayes got a very decent chance as the divisions piss poor at the moment. That, added to the charisma and star quality of the man, and you've got someone who will be remembered as great even when hes competing with mediocrity most of the timeComment

Khan
he is the most talented in the most talented division, still young and with the best trainer in the world
that said,if haye manages to beat big vit and that boring ass robot wlad then that would be hard to top (cant see it happening though)Comment

It's gotta be David Haye. If he beats ruiz and both the Klistchko's that'll make him undisputed heavyweight champ as well as undisputed cruiserweight champ. That's quite something. I like Amir khan and wish him the best but I don't think he'll ever become an elite level fighter.
IMO, Froch is a limited fighter who only knows how to fight one way and sooner or later he's going to get caught out.Comment
