Up to $1,500 for the best seats in the house...

Me too. I am also going to Froch-Kessler in Denmark.

I decided to be the traveling boxing fan this year.

And tickets for this one are cheaper than the 240 I am in for for the fight in Denmark.

So dont sit here saying Detroit is dead, we havent even had a chance.. While the event might not sell out, I expect it to be pretty close. And this fight should draw alot of people since Dirrell is from Flint. BOXING FANS IN DETROIT GO SEE THIS FIGHT MARCH 27th AT JOE LOUIS ARENA!
So Detroit is one of the biggest boxing cities in the world yet haven't had a fight between 2 top contenders for 10 years?????

        Lol.

Awesome that Vernon Paris and Brian Mihtar will be on this card. I saw Mihtar at The Palace a couple years ago. Vernon Paris was supposed to be the co-feature with Lanardo Tyner (Fire and Ice I think it was called), but Paris got hurt. I saw him there though mingling with fans.

Hopefully these guys will step up their opposition from the last time I saw them (Fox Sports Detroit aired a card about a month ago and Paris and Mihtar were facing guys with losing records)...

Dude, I can get a fine hotel and see a great fight there for nothing man.

And it's an hour on the plane.

I am so glad they are bringing boxing back there.

We can make a bet, I can get you ringside before the main event.

Definetely. Detroit has bred some of the finest fighters the world has ever seen. I just found the irony in the post I quoted to be of mildly contradictory...
