The 2010 slate for the “Fight Night Club” series kicked off Thursday night at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California, headlined by talented 23-year old Jr. Welterweight Victor Ortiz (26-2-1, 21 KO) of Oxnard, California. In that main event, Ortiz dominated 28-year old Hector Alatorre (16-9, 5 KO) of Tulare, California for nine rounds before lowering the boom and picking up a technical knockout win in the tenth and final round. Victor carried that dude for 10 rounds. It was a stay busy fight. When it came down to put him away, he did.Comment

there's always that possibility, it's like Fernando Vargas said about Miguel Cotto "Cotto already quit once, so he's liable to quit again"
who knows though maybe Nate Campbell might get cut first and quit like he did against BradleyComment

Cabron's post is right, Vargas saying that about Cotto. He kinda has a point but I think it goes better with Ortiz. Cotto has taken his lumps & showed heart in his fights. This kid Victor quit the very second he faced some real adversity. I guess Vargas doesn't look at it that way. Maybe he can't. That left eye is probably still swollen.Last edited by King Ju-Ju; 02-26-2010, 12:06 PM.Comment
