To answer TS, if that was pac the left would have probably connected. Pac's lead left > that jab JMM through. Punch would have been same speed (more likely faster) and he would have stepped into it, giving a good 3-5 inches of reach. Had it missed he probably would have circled to his right anyways (to avoid May's right hand) and may have dropped the right enough to catch him.

Point is moot though because I doubt PBF would try that kind of counter with Pac, his left is just too damn good and he'd be moving right to were a southpaw would like.

i dont think that manny's combos is gonna do ANYTHING to floyd..i wasnt impressed with manny performance against cotto who just skipping around..and how effective was his combo's against marquez..who i thought beat manny twice.. point is i DONT think manny is that fast either...Sure he has speed but thats only gonna get u so far..His right hand is more effective and that may give floyd something to solve in the later rounds..

When floyd fights he only gives u like half of his body to hit..and when u do hit youre basically hitting his arms..manny isnt that fast..so even when he does swing he's gonna leave himself open and floyd will counter..mayweather leans back alot and i dunno if manny has reach over floyd..even if he does im sure its not by much so it wont be so effective..Now if u disagree that hes fast etc then we'll disagree all night...

First, credit to TitoYuca since this is his sig gif. Everytime I see it, I'm impressed by Floyd's reflexes, but the more I observe Marquez, I start to analyze...



...I think if it was Pacquiao, who is much faster than Marquez and does combinations, do you think Floyd would've been hit by the right hook before he can duck?? Or is it possible that Pac would've followed his lead left with the right immediately before Floyd can counter? I notice Floyd leaned back a bit, and if Pac would've made a 3-4 punch combo, would Floyd have been unbalanced and possibly Knocked down?
