hey man i thought you were joking but let me explain this.
I am italian, english is not my first language, and here in italy when we see someone really skinny we say Auschwitz....its not meant to be offensive to anyone, its just a joke, i can understand that city is tied with the victioms and all that, but when we say this we dont mean any offence. Maybe its because it was a long time ago, i dont know, but it became just one of those things people say without meaning any bad things.
