Good place to bring a fight. If there are decent judges no one is going to get robbed, but who know these days, haha. Dirrell can win a clean UD if he boxes and moves like he did in the Froch fight, because Froch was going forward and throwing a lot of punches and Dirrell barely broke a sweat through the whole fight. Abraham isn't really a pressure fighter he likes to take breathers and explodes especially now that he's carrying more weight. It's gonna be tough for Abraham to win if he just boxes because Dirrell is an unbelievably fast boxer and moves really well. Abraham needs to hurt Dirrell to win. Dirrell just needs to box beautifully like in the Froch fight and stay out of the way of Abraham's explosions, and there won't be any robbery.

Even before a location was confirmed, I personally think that if the fight lasts all 12 rounds, I'd favour Dirrell the victor....as long as he is mentally prepared which wasn't the case in the Froch fight.
The favoured outcome would be Abraham by stoppage, but something tells me Dirrell is gonna suprise.

He's smart and they're dumb.

Abraham style is not gonna work on a quick, slick, elusive fighter like Dirrel.Abraham is too defensive minded.

Plus, I don't know why all these Europeans keep insisting that all 3 of Wards fights are at home. They just blurt out any ****** thought that comes to mind apparently.
The only thing guaranteed to Ward is that he wouldn't have to travel to Europe, not that all of his fights would be in California.
If Taylor had beaten Abraham the fight between Taylor and Ward would have likely been in LA or Vegas but not in Oakland. It just worked out that nobody wants to see Ward fight Green anywhere but in Oakland.
You can also bet that if Dirrell beats Abraham the 3rd round match between Ward and Dirrell won't be in Oakland, but on neutral ground.Last edited by Hitman932; 02-26-2010, 03:47 AM.
