  • Andre Dirrel Can Outpoint Abraham if he Mans up And Throws more Punches

I just saw the jermain Taylor vs Abraham fight. Abraham can be easily out work, Out of the first 5 rounds Taylor took 4 of those in my eyes, because Abraham doesnt throw too many punches. Taylor was backing him up with the jab, landing his straight right hand and punishing Abraham to the body(wich Abraham doenst like it).

Abraham is very flat footed, he moves roboticly and besides his high guard, power and straigght Right hand, he doesnt have much to offer.
His hooks are wide as hell and he doesnt throw too many combinations.

If Dirrel jabs and jas, and throw combos to the body he got this. Im smelling a Ward-Kessler type upset less the headbutts!!!

He sure can, the 1st 4 or 5 should be easy all Dirrell has to do is stay busy because AA does very little early and if he can steal a couple mid-late rounds too without getting KTFO he has got it.

Abraham always start off slow then break down the opponents in the later round. Few bodyshots to stop him from running and it's goodnight Dirrell.

thats what i'm betting on happening

although Arthur could land that kill shot and ruin Dirrell's day

I said in another thread that the perfect gameplan to beat Abraham is to counter him all night long. When he exchanges, he is wide open for numerous counters. His left hook is wide as hell. So If I was with Dirrell's camp, I would tell him to work on the counter left hook and the counter right. Easy work.

Abe got a solid glove-guard and some huge counter-bombs. Dirrell will have his hands full landing some potshots without getting hit.

Yeap but Taylor was doing easy work of Abraham till fatigue set in and boom KTFO.

Dirrel looks like he is always on great shape, and is much faster than Taylor with better movement
