To the people complaining, the thing is, Hopkins and Jones aren't fooling anybody. Everyone knows that they're past their best. Everyone knows Jones is not the same fighter who won fighter of the decade in the 90s. Everyone knows Hopkins' last stoppage was against a guy who had more WW fights than anything, Oscar De La Hoya at MW a weight class he had no business being in. They are past it, so what, they're still active, they are big names in the sport. Let's support them like MMA supports their old fighters. I'm watching this fight and there's nothing anyone can say to stop me from doing that. If you don't like this fight well guess what, there's over dozen good fights left for you guys to watch.Comment

To me it's more than being past his prime, Roy Jones Jr. is shot! Yes he was once great. His skills and abilities were amazing! But getting knocked cold by Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver should have been enough. Never the less they kept recycling him and even though it is obvious his reflexes are gone, promoters keep selling us a bill of goods based on the name of a once great fighter. Everyone can look and see "B-Hop vs. Jones Jr." and say "wow" as they did when Ali was thrown in with Holmes and Berbick, but looking back we should admit this fight should not be made!
With Jones Jr, we should drop the slogan "Ya'll must have forgot" and replace it with "Only the name remains the same"
No offence people but Jones is risking more than a loss here!Comment
